In this tilawat I read the 5 surahs which are also known as the five kuls, and they are:Suratul Qureshey Makiya
Suratul kafirooney Makiya
Suratul ikhlasey Makiya
Suratul falaqey Makiya
Suratul Naasey Makiya
Makiya stands for the surahs which were revealed in Makka(Mecca). These five kuls are found in the 30th Para(Chapter).I read 25 iyats(versus) in total,(6)iyats from Surah Naas,(5)iyats from Surah Falaq,(4)iyats from Surah Iklas,(6)iyats from Surah Kaafiroon, and (4)iyats from Surah Quresh. These Surahs can be really important when you are scared, or frightened.
English: Introduction,transliteration, Translations,Explanation,what we have learned,vacabulary.
AN-Nas,114:1-6
Mankind/Mankind
Revealed in Makka
Introduction:
There are 114 Surahs in the Qur'an. Surah an-Nas is the last Surah of the Qur'an.This is a twin Surah with Surah al-Falaq, or "The Daybreak."
In both these Surah, we seek refuge in Allah from all forms of evils and dangers. In this Surah, we seek Allah's refuge from the evil that come from inside us.
Rasulullah(S) advised us to recite these two Surahs in the morning and at night, before we go to sleep. If we do so, Allah promises to save us from the evil and danger that comes from inside us or that which is around us.
Transiteration:
Bismillahi-(a)r-Rahmani-(a)r-Rahim(i)
1. Qul 'a'udhu bi-Rabbi-(a)n-nas(i)
2. Maliki-(a)n-nas(i)
3.'Ilahi-(a)n-nas(i)
4. Min sharri-(a)l-waswasi-(a)l-khannas(i)
5. 'Alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri-(a)n-nas(i)
6. Mina-(a)l-jinnati wa-(a)n-nas(i)
Translations:
In the name of Allah,Most Gracious, Most Merciful
1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
2. The King(or ruler) of Mankind,
3. The God(or Jadge) of Mankind,
4. From the mischief of the Wisperer (of evil), who withdraws(after his whisper),
5. (The same)who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,
6. Among Jinns and among Men.
Explanation:
114:1. As Mualims, we know that Allah has power over everything. No one else shares this power with Him.. No one may help us or harm us without Allah's permission. Therefore we always ask Allah's protection and refuge from all evil forces that are within us or around us.
114:2. Allah is the King and Ruler of all the worlds. No one shares power with Him.
114:3. Allah is the only God for all of mankind. He is the God of those who believe in Him. He is also the God of those who do not believe in Him. There is no God except Allah.
114:4. We seek Allah's protection from the Shaitan(satin), who places evil thought into the hearts of people. Many people do not realize that these thoughts are from the Shaitan. He is the worst enemy of mankind. When we follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Rasullullah, the Shaitan avoids us.
114:5-6. Among men and jinn are those who behave as the Shaitan does. They are evil, and they place evil thoughts into the minds of people. The best way to prevent this from happening to us is to avoid the company of such evil people. Instead, we should seek the company of better people. And we must always trust Allah's powers and seek His protection. One who is protected by Allah cannot be harmed by anyone.
We Have Learned:
* Allah is the Lord of everyone.
* We must seek His protection from the
evil inspired by Shaitan.
* Shaitan exist both among jinns and
among humans.
I will write the vacabulary and more descriptions on the other 4 surahs later.
